Before you fill out your application form, please ensure that you and all of your crew have read this ENTIRE site thoroughly. 

If you proceed with your application it will be assumed that you are in agreement with our principles, ethos and festival guidelines.

This is a necessary submission for every INDIVIDUAL adult wanting to celebrate the New Year at Wild Spirit, even if you have already booked your stay with us.

Receiving and processing your applications early helps us enormously with all the admin involved in putting this event together. 

If you are enquiring on behalf of friends who are joining you, please direct them to this site and ask them to read it thoroughly and apply independently.

Applications will be assessed to ensure that everyone who attends is aligned, prepared and committed to contributing

positively to this special event.

Please do not encourage friends to apply who will behave in ways which are out of alignment with our ethos. 

Space and tickets are limited, so application is no guarantee of a ticket.

Once submitted, we will contact you to confirm your spot and  proceed with the booking of your accommodation or camping.

Camping tickets are R1200

This includes a campsite for 5 nights and entry into all the workshops, classes, live music and general festivities from the

28th Dec-1st January.

A 50% deposit via EFT will secure your spot. You must settle the balance upon arrival in CASH only at the Gate.


Tickets are non refundable but they are transferable, provided an application form is submitted by the person taking over the ticket.

There will be an additional accommodation charge if you are staying in the Wild Spirit lodgings, to be booked and confirmed with Michaela, and settled upon arrival.

Day Passes are strictly limited and by prior arrangement with Michaela only.

 Camping and Accommodation

All accommodation and camping at Wild Spirit over the dates 28th Dec- 2nd Jan has been reserved for Festival of Friends, without exception.

Our lodge accommodation gets booked out fast, so please prepare to camp sustainably if you have not already secured beds with us.


As we need to accommodate our International Backpackers who cannot travel

with the necessary camping equipment, we reserve a portion of our lodge accommodation for these purposes.

We appreciate your understanding for those travelling from abroad who cannot as easily ask a buddy for gear.


Your ticket will be confirmed upon acceptance of your application form, arrival and departure dates, and deposit.

The Wild Spirit Lodge is run as a separate entity over New Years Eve.

It will be totally full and at capacity. As such, all Lodge facilities and amenities

(such as catering, kitchens, bar, dining area and communal ablutions) will be reserved for in-house lodge guests only.

Overuse of the above amenities creates serious chaos and stress for all festival goers/guests & staff. We value your co-operation and understanding.


  1. Submit your Application Form individually (parents will include children under 16 years in theirs)

  2. Once we have processed your form we will contact you via the email address provided with final info and banking details for payment 

  3. Please save all Proof of Payments for the Gate

  4. Armbands will be issued upon arrival at the Registration Station. Please remember your Reference number, ID and Proof of Payment
