Welcome to the 5th edition Festival of Friends!
The time is almost among us...
Tickets still available
It's an annual Wild Spirit tradition to combine sweet beats with lovely peeps to create
conscious, collaborative, creative play
to welcome in the New Year.
These yearly events evolved into this festival,
designed for those of us who desire a wholesome, alternative experience of a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Due to popular demand, this camping festival
will be a FIVE-day event this year.
To preserve intimacy, safety and all-round atmosphere, we limit numbers to no more than a total of 600 people on the farm on New Year's Eve.
This includes the many wonderful performance and visual artists
who make their way here from all over South Africa (and other parts of the world)
to perform and share their gifts in this space.

About the Festival
As always, it is our hope to experimentally co-create with all of you a space to facilitate and expand on Eco-Conscious Play practices
and Interacting with Awareness – of our selves, our tribe, our natural environment, and our constantly evolving world at large.
We are working to engage with and promote the ethics and principles of being 'high on life' -
which we understand to be the practice of enjoying our personal selves through sharing our skills, talents and passions to promote
life, health, and a happy green Earth for all to enjoy.
This is a conscious child-friendly event which caters to all ages, colours, shapes and forms.
It is therefore important to note we do not accept raucous, intoxicated and high-maintenance behaviour at any point during the celebrations.
We aim to provide a space within which to party creatively, with loving respect for other people, our animals, and the land itself.
If you are unsure of the motivations of the people joining you, please take responsibility for relaying this message clearly.
Of course we will play, with much enthusiasm, but we expect everyone who attends to align with our ethos.
The longstanding drought in this area together with recurring wildfires has made urgent the need to fast track the rehabilitation of indigenous species, both fauna and flora, by removing alien vegetation and re-cultivating the land with appropriate plants and purpose.
To bring attention and awareness to this important environmental issue, and to harness the potential of purposeful-people-power,
we will have 3 sessions where we invite you to learn, share and get your lovely hands dirty.
These SOUL SOIL SESSIONS will be focused around our mission of re-greening the campsite with
indigenous buffer zones and planting food for our bees.
The 3 sessions will be run daily from 11:00-13:00 and will be shaped as follows:
29th - Alien clearing and land preparation
30th - Digging holes, lots of them
31st - Planting
In this way we can all creatively celebrate and honour our beloved Earth as we bring in the New Year with wholesome intention.
Following the ethos of the fabulous folk from Greenpop: We plant, and then we play, mos!
We encourage participation in these missions which represent the fusion of heart, head and hands.
Anticipate funky beats, treats and magical humming in the forest…
Bring shoes, hats, gloves, spades and gees!
We are VERY excited for this one!
Important to Note:
While we do all we can to minimise the threat of wild fires on the farm, the Garden Route is still a
high fire-risk area, especially in the hot, dry summer months.
Cigarette butts, open fires and irresponsibility are the main culprits.
We request everyone to actively and conscientiously work with us on this one.
Please and thank you in advance.
